Blow Out FAIL=

I've been wanting to try the skill of blow drying my own hair lately.  Usually, I either let my hair air dry, or use a curling iron on dry hair.  I attempted this technique with a couple of barrel brushes and a blow dryer.  As soon as I had the hair wrapped on the brush in attempts to create a curl with the heat, I no longer could get my hair out of the brush!!!!  After 20 minutes of what seemed like forever, I finally gave up :/  The only solution, scissors and snip snip snip!

 In the end, you really can't tell, I butchered my hair, thank the beautiful skies! But honestly, the effort of putting heat and placing the hair into pin curls while they cool off was not successful! waste of time. It looks like I literally just flipped my hair upside down and blasted it with heat.  More practice more practice more practice.

Went for a nice cup of coffee and watched the sunset with the little homie.  Poor guy needs a hair cut; he's looking like an old man

Books...Food....Studying

The past couple of weeks have involved countless hours of school, school, and oyea and more school! Thank goodness it's almost down to a graduation cap and gown.  Granted this term mainly consists of more clinic work than book work, but the thought of taking 4 exams in order to attain a license stresses even the most calm and chill people.

My class and I attended some seminars for our boards and wow theses seminars are definitely worth the money.  The book alone is worth the price of the three-day seminar.  

This woman is my scrub bud!  She is one of the sweetest people I know!

These beauties are some of the people I spend all my days with! We see each other's faces more than our own families...it's kinda ridiculous :)

While on a lunch break from the seminars located in Brea, CA, we would go to the mall and I found my future window decoration for my "future" loft!  ahahah I had to tak ea picture, I couldn't resist....little did I know that Urban Outfitters actually sells their decorations...this guy was going for $85 dollars CASH

Don't let this constipated look fool you!  This is the nervous face of a chick on her way to her 1 of 4 exams in order to get her license.  Actually, I was on my way to my scrub bud's place because we signed up at the same time and place.  The whole car ride there we were definitely making small talk because we both were sooooooo nervous; by the time we got to the testing site both our hands were shaking!  j  WE Definitely would have preferred to enjoy the great Los Angeles weather at the beach forsure.

Superbowl Sunday

In the past, I've never really celebrated (if that's the word to describe this day) Super Bowl Sunday  because simply I always worked retail this day, and everyone else always wanted to request a day off.  So, I always volunteered haha.  This year, seeing as I've become a "starving college student," a couple of friends and I went to someones house, ate, and watched the49ers get beat....I honestly had no preference, but my friends made me chooooooose, therefore GO 49ers!!!!

I cut one of my friends a shirt since she didn't have anything maroon colored.  I really wish I captured a pic of her wearing it....super cute

Best part of the nights, the food and the company!!! Oh yea and the Destiny's child performance.....completely shocked btw...How crazy and amazing was that?!?!?!
